National Council Of Catholic Women

Your membership in NCCW links you with hundreds of thousands of Catholic women across the country.  Women like you and councils like yours share ideas, concerns and developments critical to the lives and work of Catholic women.

Together we work toward the fulfillment of our mission statement:

The support, education and empowerment of Catholic women in leadership, spirituality and service.

What do we get for our membership and dues?

Critical interaction, essential resources, unique opportunity!

SUPPORT

NCCW programs and resources give us the tools we need to make an impact with Catholic values on our community and the world.

Children Matter Campaign continues to be an outstanding program to aid and raise awareness of the many children in our culture who suffer from abuse everyday.

Women Healing the Wound pamphlets and how-to-instructions on addressing domestic abuse are available to councils at a below-cost price …  to reach women who need support.

Mothers Outreach to Mothers handbook gives specific procedures for councils to develop a pro-life program to mentor young, at-risk mothers… to help babies as they start life and teach new mothers the skills they need.

Works of Peace/Reconciliation gives our members the opportunity to reach out to the developing world … helping the poorest of the poor with effective, proven projects and programs.

The Earth:  In our Hands highlights environmental stewardship and addresses environmental concerns through education and action programs in parish and diocesan projects nationwide.

RESPITE manual details the program in which we assist caregivers of the elderly and ill … helping families help each other.

Call to Pray manual includes prayers and prayer services contributed by NCCW members from across the country.
