Eucharistic Ministers

The Second Vatican Council established the Extraordinary Ministers of the Eucharist to assist priest in distributing the Precious Body and Blood of Christ to the faithful during Mass and to reach out to those who are ill, hospitalized or homebound.  What a great honor it is for a Catholic to have the opportunity to share the Blessed Sacrament with fellow Catholics.  Eucharistic Ministers perform Corporal Works of Mercy by visiting those who are ill and Spiritual Works of Mercy by praying for, and with those to whom they minister.  As the Parish grows, so does the need for Eucharistic Ministers.  If you have a desire to serve the Lord and your fellow parishioners by becoming an Eucharistic Minister, please contact via email Diane Sochacki  or telephone at (863) 382-6638.

Would you like to be a Eucharistic Minister, and serve at Masses?  There will be a training session for Eucharistic Ministers who wish to serve at Mass, on Saturday, April 19th at 9:00 AM in Blessed Sacrament Chapel. This session is for parishioners who have never served in this capacity before. You will be included in the new schedule which runs all of June, July and August. You will be commissioned at 10:30 AM Mass on Sunday, April 20th. Everything will be explained in the training session. Please contact Diane at 382-6638 or jerryanddiane@tnni.net.
